"I
want to ask a question to everyone who reads this blog: Are you living the life
that you desire to live? Somebody said yes, somebody said no. It depends upon
the path that you choose to live. In this race called life, many people run
without even knowing what they are running for. I ask you to stop for a minute,
absorb the journey you have run before, take a deep breath, and look forward to
the path you are about to take.
If you
want to set up your life from scratch or start a new career, I hope this will
help you start your day with more energy and understand the purpose of your
life, working for it more soulfully. I have picked a routine that will help you
start the day, from the book 'The Miracle
Morning' by Hal Elrod. This routine has the acronym 'SAVERS.'
S stands for Silence
Wake up early and create a silent
environment for yourself, just like putting your phone on silent mode. It is
crucial to avoid using your phone for at least an hour after waking up. Spend a
few minutes in silence after waking up. It is the best way to kickstart your
day with more awareness and helps you focus on your work. During this silence,
you can meditate, pray, reflect, practice deep breathing, or express gratitude.
There are numerous ways to practice silence.
A stands for Affirmation
Words have power, so use them wisely.
When someone constantly says something, they often become what they have said.
Affirmations shape your mindset positively and help you manifest your desired
reality. They make your vision clear about what you want, why you want it, when
you will start working for it, and how you will achieve it. Affirmations turn
your thoughts into action.
V stands for Visualization
After affirmations, visualization
helps motivate you to achieve your future goals. Whenever you fear defeat,
imagine yourself being successful and motivated. Visualization pushes you
towards the success you desire and provides clarity about your goals. Rather
than dwelling on past defeats and the actions that led to your present
situation, focus on taking a deep breath, close your eyes, and imagine what you
will do to achieve your goals. Visualize how your life will look after
achieving them and express the feelings associated with attaining those goals.
Visualization can also help you improve your present situation by creating a
plan for change.
E stands for Exercise
Exercise contributes to better
health, mental stability, emotional well-being, and clearer thinking. It helps
you concentrate longer and keeps you energized throughout the day. You can
engage in breathing techniques (pranayama), yoga, Pilates, high-intensity
interval training (HIIT), or simply run or walk. Just 10 minutes of exercise is
enough to keep you energetic and maximize your energy levels. Regular exercise
increases self-confidence and helps you perform better to achieve your goals.
R stands for Reading
Morning is the best time for reading
and learning new things. It allows you to absorb information effectively and
concretely. Books are a limitless source of knowledge, creativity, and
motivation. Choose a role model and read about their life journey as a way to
motivate yourself. You can also improve your communication skills or read about
topics that interest you or are relevant to achieving your goals. Reading at
least 10 pages a day may seem small, but it has a significant impact throughout
your life. You can complete over 3,000 pages in a year, gaining a wealth of
knowledge. It makes you a more skilled and confident person, ready to chase
your goals and be a better leader.
S stands for Scripting
Scripting is a form of writing. It
involves documenting your personal growth, lessons you have learned, things you
are grateful for, and tasks to be accomplished throughout the day. It helps
bring clarity to your actions and goals, allowing you to visualize your
achievements and track your habits. You can incorporate scripting as a regular
part of your life, as it aids in manifesting your goals. You can choose any
form of writing, whether digital or traditional, such as using a notebook.
Don't worry about mistakes, punctuation, or grammatical errors. Simply writing,
even as a doodle, is enough to achieve what you need.
